It's a beautiful winter day here today; a peaceful , gentle, snowfall is creating a quiet and serene feeling as it blankets the surrounding woods. A perfect day for the beef stew bubbling in the crock pot.
All that's needed now is a fire in the fireplace. One of my favorite things in the winter is a scented fire. Easy to do; just two drops of Lavender Oil on some pine cones, toss them into your fire and discover how enjoyable it is to relax with the scent of Lavender drifting through your home. Doubles the pleasure.
